SCSO investigates Sunday night shooting

Update: The St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in relation to a shooting investigation, which occurred on Sunday, March 21, 2021 in the 1200 block of Paul Maillard Road in Luling, LA.
On Sunday, just prior to 10:00 p.m. S.C.S.O. deputies responded to a 911 call in reference to a female, who had been shot. The juvenile victim sustained an apparent gunshot wound to her leg and was transported to University Medical Center for medical treatment. She is currently listed in stable condition and is awaiting surgery for the injury.
During the investigation witnesses stated that a grey colored car similar to a Chevrolet Impala was seen traveling on Paul Maillard Road when several gunshots were heard. Two vehicles parked near the crime scene were damaged from gunfire, but no other injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
The shooting occurred shortly after a large party had dispersed on a neighboring street. Several subjects were congregated near an apartment complex located at 1220 Paul Maillard Road when the shooting took place. It does not appear that the victim was the intended target during the shooting.

The St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a shooting that occurred in the 1200 block of Paul Maillard Road in Luling, Louisiana.
Just before 10 p.m. the S.C.S.O. responded to a 911 call related to a female that was shot. The victim was transported to University Medical Center for treatment.
Currently, additional deputies and detectives are in the area and can be expected in the area throughout the night as the investigation continues.
