Flash flood watch in effect Tuesday morning through Thursday evening
St. John the Baptist Parish – St. John Parish is under a Flash Flood Watch beginning at 8:00 a.m. Tuesday through Thursday evening.
Rainfall amounts of 4 to 8 inches are forecast with additional higher amounts possible. Strong winds, isolated tornadoes and small hail can’t be ruled out during this time.
Crews are out preparing for heavy rainfall and residents are asked to assist with helping clean out catch basins and storm drains at homes and businesses.
