Eligible St. John the Baptist Parish residents are urged to take part in the following COVID-19 vaccination opportunities.
St. John Parish will have a Vaccine Clinic for the Johnson & Johnson vaccine from 9 a.m. to noon March 19. March 26 and April 9 at the St. John Community Center, located at 2900 Highway 51 in LaPlace.
Register in advance on MyOchsner at https://myochsner.org or by calling 844-888-2772. Registration will also be available on site. There is no cost to participants. However, the Vaccine Clinic is open to eligible groups only, and ID is needed.

District 6 Councilwoman Tonia Schnyder and the Louisiana Department of Health are sponsoring a #SleeveUp Vaccination Event from noon to 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 23 at the Choice International Multipurpose Complex, located at 1005 Cambridge Drive in LaPlace. Vaccinations are free to the community and by appointment only. Appointment phone lines are open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday at 1-800-228-9409.
