The Louisiana Department of Health will host free drive-thru COVID-19 Community Vaccination Events requiring only one dose on Wednesday, March 17 in Vacherie and Friday, March 19 in Lutcher.

Vacherie Event

Wednesday’s Vaccine Event in Vacherie will be held from 2 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Vacherie, located at 1244 Magnolia Heights.

People 18 and older with certain medical conditions listed by the CDC are encouraged to register for the drive-thru COVID-19 Community Vaccine Event requiring only one dose online at Covid19 Vaccine Public Patient Form (la.gov) or via phone on both Monday, March 13 and Tuesday, March 14 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at 1-800-228-9409.

Lutcher Event

Friday’s Vaccine Event in Lutcher will be held from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. at the First Community Antioch Baptist Church, located at 10860 Hwy 3125. To schedule an appointment online, people may go tohttps://laredcap.oph.dhh.la.gov/surveys/?s=XJLPNCNYLP. Appointment phone lines also will be open to schedule appointments from Tuesday, March 16 through Thursday, March 18 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at 1-800-228-9409.
