SCSO investigates weekend homicide

The St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a homicide that occurred in the 100 Block of Killona Drive in Killona, LA.
On February 7, 2021 just before 4:30 p.m., the S.C.S.O. responded to a 911 call in reference to a subject that was shot in the 100 block of Killona Drive. Deputies arrived on scene and located two victims. One victim suffered from multiple gunshot wounds causing him to succumb to his injuries. A second victim received a minor, non life-threatening injury to his arm.
At this point in the investigation it appears that the deceased victim may have been targeted by the suspect.
Detectives are actively investigating the incident and a large police presence in the Killona Area can be expected for the duration of the evening.
