LAPLACE — St. John the Baptist Parish Parks and Recreation is holding a free baseball clinic on Saturday, Feb. 13 at REGALA Park, located at 194 REGALA Park Road in Reserve. Boys ages 9 to 11 can participate from 10 a.m. to noon, while boys ages 12 to14 can participate from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Techniques and skills include in-fielding, out-fielding, base running, pitching and hitting/bunting.

Temperature screenings, face coverings and social distancing will be implemented. Please bring your own glove, cap and batting helmet. There will be a limit of 50 players per session.

St. John Parish Parks and Recreation is also looking for volunteer coaches for youth basketball for age groups 5/6, 7/8, 9/10 and 11/12.
