Covid-19 Vaccine Update

St. John the Baptist Parish – Today, the Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) added the Walmart Pharmacy in LaPlace as a vaccine provider in St. John the Baptist Parish. LDH is sending vaccines to select locations for residents in the current priority groups, including seniors 70 years of age and older. Patients must contact a participating location for an appointment.
St. James Parish Hospital is also accepting vaccine registrations. Residents interested in receiving the COVID-19 Vaccine at St. James Parish Hospital, are asked to complete an interest form online at www.sjph.org/vaccine or call 225-265-9005 to have someone assist with registering over the phone.
