LAPLACE — Ascension of Our Lord Catholic School selected Kenton L. Hill II as their 2020-2021 Fifth grade student of the year.

According to school officials, Kenton recognizes that hard work always pays off. Being in control of his decisions and modeling good behavior everyday always leads to success. He has a deep desire to help others, which reflects in his daily life both at school and in his community.

Kenton is grateful for all that he has and understands how blessed he is. God has gifted him with special talents and he tries to use them to the best of his ability everyday.
