In the second quarter, the Lady Comets saw even more success and aggressiveness, outscoring the Hurricanes 15-5 to make the halftime score 25-12.

The Lady Comets returned from halftime and took the Hurricanes by storm! The team moved the ball offensively, rebounded on both ends, and truly capitalized on the Hurricanes’ mistakes. Making many key plays and capitalizing on fast break opportunities, the Lady Comets finished the game for the win with a score of 60-33. This big district win made their record 5-4, with a 2-0 district record.

Coach Dawn Gaubert was extremely proud of her team and said, “The girls hustled hard and were very aggressive tonight. Our team is young; we have one senior and one junior.
