LAPLACE — Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center is bringing “Prevention on the Go” to St. John the Baptist Parish by offering breast cancer screenings from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 14 at Winn-Dixie, 1830 W. Airline Highway in LaPlace.

An appointment and facemasks are required. To make an appointment, call 888-616-4687.

Free screenings are made possible by donor gifts. Screenings are free for those have not been screened in the last 12 months. Insurance will be billed for mammograms. For those without insurance, there will be no charge.
