SPECIAL TO L’OBSERVATEUR LAPLACE — St. John the Baptist Parish President Jaclyn Hotard recently presented Halloween gift baskets to the winners of the Parish’s first K-3 Halloween Art Contest. The artwork is also being displayed in the Parish Government Complex through the month of November. Winners were as follows: Jaely Martich, kindergarten, LaPlace Elementary Krislyn Watson, first grade, Ascension of our Lord Kyndalyn Hill, second grade, Ascension of our Lord Christal Weber, third grade, LaPlace Elementary Most Creative: Harmony Mason, kindergarten, LaPlace Elementary President Hotard would like to thank all of our schools for participating and all who submitted entries. Please be on the lookout for an upcoming Holiday Art Contest in addition to other activities for students.
