LAPLACE — Children are invited to dress up in their favorite Halloween costumes and bring their trick-or-treat bags or buckets for a walk around Cambridge Corner.

Multiple businesses around 1036 W. Airline Highway will be giving out candy to families. No purchase is necessary to participate.

Participating stores include A to Z Unlimited/Total Wireless, LaPlace Beauty Market, Boost Mobile and Rae’s Shed/Snoball stand.

The trick-or-treat event will take place from 1 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31.
