St. John Public School District to bring more students back into schools
RESERVE — The St. John the Baptist Parish Public School District will utilize a phased-in approach to bringing more students back into its schools under Phase 3 guidelines.
The phase-in will begin Nov. 9 according to the schedule below:

PreK-3 | Nov. 9 |
Will continue their current schedule of Monday-Friday in person. |
4-5 | Nov. 9 |
Monday-Thursday in person Fridays remain virtual to allow for sanitizing of buildings. |
6-8 | Nov. 30 |
Monday-Thursday in person Fridays remain virtual to allow for sanitizing of buildings. |
9-12 | Nov. 9 |
Monday-Thursday in person Fridays remain virtual to allow for sanitizing of buildings. |
Parents of current traditional and hybrid model students who do not wish to send their child back to school under this new schedule will be able to opt for full-time virtual learning. Parents have until Oct. 30 to fill out the form provided by their school indicating their choice.
