When the weather cools and families come together, L’OBSERVATEUR puts out an annual Holiday Cookbook featuring tried and true recipes from residents of the River Parishes.

Recipes passed down from generation to generation are beautifully preserved in a keepsake booklet and delivered to all L’OBSERVATEUR subscribers. Cookbooks are also available to the community for free. They will be available for pick-up in the L’OBSERVATEUR office at 116 Newspaper Drive (behind Destiny Christian Center in LaPlace) beginning on November 18.
