Ruth Bordelon Clement passed away on Monday, September 28, 2020. She was 77, born in Bunkie, Louisiana and was a resident of LaPlace.

Beloved wife of the late Lloyd Clement.  Mother of Barbara Hicks, Linda Waguespack, Marian Deroche (Kirk), Ginette Mizell (Conerly), Jackie King (Kenny) and the late Lloyd Clement Jr. Grandmother of Jason Hicks, Krystal Hicks, Chanda Waguespack, Amanda Waguespack, David Waguespack Jr., Dane Waguespack, Kira Deroche, Kirk Deroche Jr. and Gabrielle Barrera (Marco). Daughter of the late Monitta Richardson Bordelon and Maurice Bordelon. Sister of Marion Pursley. Also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to the entire staff of Twin Oaks Nursing Home for their loving care.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 529 W. Fifth Street in LaPlace on Saturday, October 3. Visitation at the church will begin at 10 a.m. to be immediately followed by a Funeral Mass at noon. Internment to follow at St. John Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
