Laquita Jean Bourg, age 74 of Luling, passed peacefully away on September 25, 2020, at 4:55pm. Laquita was born in Sayre, Oklahoma, and moved to Luling with her husband, Kenneth Allen Bourg Sr., to live with him for 54 wonderful years.  She was a homemaker, dedicated to her three children, the Church, and her grandkids and great-grandkids. She loved to craft and was always creating beautiful keepsakes for her family. She also loved to cook and was always trying new recipes. She loved flowers and Scriptures from the Bible to keep beauty in her heart. She always put everyone else’s needs over hers and she will be eternally loved and deeply missed.

She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Sanders and Anna Titsworth, and many of her 19 brothers and sisters.

Laquita will be deeply missed by her husband, Kenneth Allen Bourg Sr., her children, Kenneth A. Bourg Jr. (Jackie), Donna Glenn Bourg Hobson (Michael), and Gerria GeAnn Couvillion (David), her numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and her sister, Sandra Scheweis.
