LAPLACE – High school football got a definitive Oct. 8-10 start date, resulting from collaboration between legislators, the Attorney General’s office, the Louisiana High School Athletic Association and various educational groups. Occupancy guidelines are still being finalized, but there is potential to have stands 50 percent filled with spectators when football starts in October.
