LAPLACE — L’OBSERVATEUR is offering a couple of new features on lobservateur.com that went live online last week.

At the top menu bar and on the right sidebar menus, readers will now notice a section entitled “Smile.”  This section can feature columns that are humorous in nature, editorial cartoons, jokes and anything else that might lighten the mood after a long day of “adulting.”

Between reading news stories or opinion columns, for a change of pace, the public can use the new interactive puzzle feature. On the right side of the newspaper’s website are sections such as Local News, Crime, Education, Sports, Opinion and more.  Towards the bottom of these sections, there is a section entitled “Interactive Puzzles.” There will be both crossword and Sudoku puzzles to solve online. Just click on the puzzle, and type the answers.

Lastly, L’OBSERVATEUR is offering “StatePoint Media” and “News You Can Use” to supplement the number and variety of articles that we already bring you in an effort to enhance reader experience.
