USDA food distribution offered to East & West bank residents

LAPLACE — The Department of Health and Human Services will be distributing USDA surplus food to St. John the Baptist Parish residents on Thursday and Friday of this week.
The drive-thru distributions will be first-come, first-served. Per the USDA, all eligibility determinations will be made at the time of the food distribution until further notice. Participants who are not currently on the USDA list are asked to please remain in line and in their vehicle until someone collects their information.
No further information will be needed from those currently on the USDA distribution list. However, all participants are still asked to remain in their vehicles. During the distribution, staff members will place the food directly in the trunk.
The distribution times and locations are as follows:

EAST BANK RESIDENTS
(MT. AIRY, GARYVILLE, LAPLACE, RESERVE)
