The following are food distributions that will be taking place in St. John parish.

• Choice International Outreach, a partner of Second Harvest Food Bank, is hosting an additional “Food for Families” distribution for those in need. The distribution will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 6, at the annex building behind Choice International Ministries, located at 516 E. Airline Highway in LaPlace.

• Barriere Construction with Second Harvest Food Bank and St. John the Baptist Parish Health and Human Services will be hosting a food distribution event. Due to the limited supply, St. John residents should call 985-536-1024 beginning at 9 a.m. on June 9. Registration is required and is first come first served. The date, time and location will be provided.
