LAPLACE — As part of an administrative review, St. John Parish President Jaclyn Hotard and Purchasing & Procurement Director Peter Montz requested and received approval from the Council Finance Committee to modify an existing contract with Cintas Corporation, providing a cost savings to the Parish of approximately $23,000 by using state contract pricing.
Cintas Corporation has been utilized by St. John Parish for many years and currently provides uniforms for field staff, mats in Parish buildings and hand sanitizer dispensers.
President Hotard and the Purchasing Department remain committed to reviewing all contracts and agreements and will continue to make adjustments that will save taxpayer dollars.
“We owe it to our residents to ensure that we are not only transparent in the procurement process but are consistently working on new, innovative ways to provide the best services for the most cost-effective price,” Hotard said.
