Verna Mae “Bonnie” Bernard Schexnayder departed this earthly life on Saturday, May 2, 2020. Daughter of the late Wilfred Sr. and Frances K. Bernard. Wife of the late Roland “Bozo” Schexnayder. Mother of Leslie and Constance Schexnayder, Veronica (Barry) Cambre, and Rolanda (Everage, III) Tuircuit. Sister of Wilhelmina B. Armour, Gerald “Ven” Bernard and the late Wilfred, Jr. and Edward Bernard and Lois B. Fuller. Survived by nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and host of nieces, nephews, godchildren, relatives and friends. Burial was at St. Peter Catholic Cemetery, 1550 LA-44, Reserve, LA 70084.
