Dr. Juanita Hill was named the Interim Assistant Superintendent for St. John the Baptist Parish Public Schools.

She has worked in education for the past 24 years, 22 of which have been spent in St. John. Hill spent eight years as a teacher and eight years as a site administrator before moving into district administration. As a district-level coordinator, supervisor and director, she’s worked with district and school administrators in assessment, accountability and student data.

“I’m eager to continue my leadership path by collaborating with Interim Superintendent Cory Butler to cultivate and encourage the students and faculty of St. John the Baptist Parish,” Hill said. “Level Up is not just what we say in St. John the Baptist Parish Public Schools, it is what we do!”

Hill holds a bachelor of arts in education from Nicholls State University and a masters of education and an educational leadership doctorate degree, both from Southeastern Louisiana University.
