St. John the Baptist Parish guilty pleas

Tosh Joseph pleaded guilty to a single charge of simple robbery and was sentenced to five years in the Louisiana Department of Corrections (with credit for time served since June 14, 2019).  He has also been ordered to pay a fine of $500.

Raekwon Batiste. pleaded guilty to a single charge of simple robbery and was sentenced to five years in the Louisiana Department of Corrections (with credit for time served since June 14, 2019).  He has also been ordered to pay a fine of $500.

Derrick Zeno. pleaded guilty to a single charge of simple robbery and was sentenced to five years in the Louisiana Department of Corrections (with credit for time served since June 14, 2019).  He has also been ordered to pay a fine of $500.

Blandy Young III pleaded guilty to the charge of possession of marijuana in exchange for a 6 month sentence in parish jail, suspended, and 2 years of probation.  He was ordered to pay a fine of $500.

Jeremy M. Landfair pleaded guilty to simple robbery. He received a sentence of 84 months to be served in the Louisiana Department of Corrections.  After credit for 34 months time served, his remaining 50 months were suspended. He was also ordered to be a fine of $500 and to stay away from victims.

Kevin Wright pleaded guilty to a count of criminal trespass and one count of aggravated assault.  He was given a six month suspended sentence on each count, to run concurrently with one month credit for time served.  He will serve six months probation to run  concurrently with a special condition to stay away from the victims

Emmanuel Prout pleaded guilty of failing to register or keep proper notification as s sex offender. He will serve two years in the Louisiana Department of Corrections without the benefit of suspension, parole, or probation. He will receive credit for time served since January 31 of this year.
