LAPLACE — The St. John Pastors Coalition served more than 2,000 meals and gave away more than 1,000 turkeys and trimmings on the East and West banks during the second annual Thanksgiving Celebration. The successful event was held at New Wine Christian Fellowship on the East Bank and at West St. John Elementary on the West Bank. Numerous volunteers and 26 local churches united for this massive undertaking of community kindness.
