Cancer-related town hall meeting scheduled

RESERVE – There will be town hall meeting at 6 p.m. on Tuesday at Our Lady of Grace Church Gym, located at 772 LA Hwy 44 in Reserve. The purpose is to inform residents about a new cancer study and how community members can get involved.
The meeting will also address concerns about the Louisiana Tumor Registry not having enough information about all cancer cases in the community.
It is being held by the Louisiana Tumor Registry with the Louisiana Department of Health and LSU Health New Orleans School of Public Health. Residents may be asked to provide medical information during this fact-finding event.
