Roland Joseph Vicknair passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at the age of 64. He was a native and lifelong resident of Reserve, LA.

He was a simple man who loved his fishing, crabbing and gardening. This led to his next passion, which was cooking and serving others.

He was the loving father of Roland Vicknair Jr., Holly Banks (Weldon) and Bridget Vicknair, grandfather of Avery Vicknair, Aubrey Banks, Tanner Cooper and Harley Carver, son of the late Harry J. Vicknair and Thelma Mary Vicknair, brother of Deborah Vicknair (Don Faucheaux), Karen Angelo (Kenny), Jo Ann Vicknair and Brent Vicknair (Melanie).

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Millet-Guidry Funeral Home, 2806 W. Airline Hwy., LaPlace at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, August 20 with visitation from 1 until 3 p.m.
