There will be intermittent and alternating lane closures on LA 640 from LA 3127 to LA 18 in St. John the Baptist Parish, beginning Friday, August 16, 2019, at 7:00 AM through Wednesday, October 30, 2019, at 7:00 PM, weather permitting, for asphalt pavement operations.

One lane will be open at all times.

Permit Information:
Oversize loads over 12 feet wide are not allowed. Emergency vehicles will have access.

Detour Information:
Motorists may use the following routes to avoid the work zone:

Motorists traveling north may use LA 3127 west to LA 3213, then north to LA 18, then east to re-intersect LA 640.
Motorists traveling south may use LA 18 west to LA 3213, then south to LA 3127, then east to re-intersect LA 640.
