LAPLACE — River Parish Community Theatre is hosting “A Taste of Broadway” fundraiser Aug. 17 at Belle Terre Country Club in LaPlace to raise money for future productions.

Located at 111 Fairway Drive in LaPlace, the night starts with a social a 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m. and live entertainment beginning at 7 p.m.

A $60 donation per person is required to participate.

The menu includes a choice of a 10 oz. ribeye steak, seasoned grilled redfish topped with lemon garlic and butter shrimp sauce or a Poblano pepper stuffed with ground seasoned chickpeas as the main entrée. Side items and dessert will be provided.
