LAPLACE — Uniforms by Logo Express has merged with Southern Stylz to service St. John the Baptist Parish’s back-to-school needs in a larger store location.

Located at 1705 W. Airline Highway next to Family Dollar and Food 4 Less, Southern Stylz offers pants and logo shirts for all St. John Parish public schools.

Shirts range in size from 3/4 to 18/20 for elementary uniforms and from youth large to 3X for high school uniforms, according to store manager Amit Bulchandani.

Customers may bring in their own shirts and receive embroidered logos from any St. John Parish public schools.

Pants range from 2T to 20 in youth sizes and from a 30 to a 42 in men’s sizes.

Skinny pants are a hit with students, according to Bulchandani.

Southern Stylz also carries plaid skirts for St. Peter Catholic School and Ascension of Our Lord Catholic School for $11.98 each.

“We carry everything, we have a bigger location, and we carry men’s clothing too at Southern Stylz,” Bulchandani said.

The now-merged Uniforms by Logo Express store has offered school uniforms for six years. Southern Stylz offers its own variety of clothing, including a signature “buy two suits for only $129.97” deal.

Store hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
