Keller: Wealth is found in God’s blessings

I’m planning to write a book titled, “I’m Rich – I just don’t have any money.” The dictionary describes “rich” as having more than enough material possessions, money, or property; wealthy.

When I was a young man, my goal was always to have what the world considered as being rich. After many years of being a Christian, reading the Bible, and surrendering to God’s will for my life, I’m a rich man, according to God’s definition of being rich.

Today, I’m blessed because God has given me a peace that brings me comfort, joy, and happiness.

The greatest blessing I’ve ever received is my salvation, but it’s not the only blessing God has promised us.

The blessing of God brings success – without stress! He tells us to be “rich” in our relationships, in our health, in our peace of mind, in our careers, and in everything that concerns us.

I am so grateful that after chasing the riches of the world, I’m finally rich because of God’s blessings on my life.

My prayer is for everyone to accept God’s offer of salvation and to read His Word – the Bible. Get to know what He has promised you, then begin praying and believing Him for it.
