NEW ORLEANS – Re:BYLT Leadership Development Agency is partnering with The City of Love Church to host Family Day in the Park 2019 from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday at A.L. Davis Park, located at 2600 LaSalle St. in New Orleans.

Designed to bridge community together through music, wellness and spiritual encouragement, this event will include performances and speakers geared toward community uplift and peace, according to organizers.Additionally, Family Day in the Park 2019 will give away 500 backpacks filled with school supplies, 500 dental bags with oral supplies, free haircuts and hair braiding, free food and $20 Wal-Mart gift cards. Attendees will also have an opportunity to win laptops and iPads.

The event will feature live performances from New Orleans-own DJ Captain Charles, award-winning group Partners-N-Crime, Hart of the City’s Shaddy Feel Good, Stellar Award Winner Josh Kagler and the Harmonistic Praise Crusade, Essence Music Festival’s Casme, Fresh & Reckless and many other artists.
