SCC Football Camp open to youth

LAPLACE — The annual SCC Youth Football Camp led by 2019 Hall of Fame Head Football Coach and Athletic Director Frank Monica will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. July 15-16 and 18-19 for boys ages 7 to 13.
Camp will not be held on Wednesday, July 17.
Monica and his football staff will conduct speed drills and teach proper football fundamentals and weight training. Special features include: a camp T-shirt; Hammer Award presented to a camper each day; Comet ball games held daily with a Super Bowl Champion; and The Great Relay Race!
The SCC Youth Football Camp is a great way to build discipline in a child, and it’s a terrific tool for promoting physical exercise and teamwork, according to organizers.
The cost for football camp is $100, and registration will take place from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. July 15.
