Paulina – The LA DOTD announced a railroad closure will take place on LA 642 at 0.1 miles north of LA 44 from 6:00 a.m. Wednesday June 26 until 6:00 a.m. Thursday June 27. No traffic will be allowed to pass during this closure to make railroad crossing repairs.

Alternates routes are available. Motorists traveling Southbound should take LA 642 to LA 3125 then LA 3193 to LA 44 back to LA 642. Northbound travelers should take LA 642 to LA 44 east to LA 3193 then north to LA 3125 and west to LA 642.
