EDGARD — Film production is going to impact a couple of major West Bank roads today and Friday, officials said.

Louisiana 640 in Edgard will be closed from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. today for movie production, according to John Mmahat, assistant location manager for Royalty Productions.

River Road (Louisiana 18) on the West Bank of St. John the Baptist Parish is scheduled to have intermittent closures with five-minute durations from 7 to 11 a.m. today and Friday between Castle Drive and Columbia Factory Road for movie production.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development expressed appreciation for motorists’ patience and reminds drivers to use caution when traveling through the work site while staying on the lookout for work crews and equipment.
