Gordon D. Tamplain Jr., 46, born April 12, 1972, passed away Saturday, Jan. 19, 2019.

Gordon was a native and resident of Reserve. He has resided in Kansas City, Mo.; Seattle, Wash. and Harahan.

Gordon was a graduate of St. Peter’s, Reserve, Class of 1986; St. Charles Catholic High, LaPlace, Class of 1990; and St. Joseph Abby + College, St. Benedict (Covington), Class of 1994.

He was a member of the Boy Scouts, Reserve Troop 316, ranked Eagle Scout.

He was a devoted worker of thinkIT Solutions as an Engineer. His work and accomplishments were his pride and joy.

He loved to help and share his knowledge of computers to anyone in need. His huge heart and big smile will be greatly missed.

Gordon was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Malone and Lena Tamplain; maternal grandparents Sidney and Lise Matherne and godfather Craig Tamplain.

Gordon is survived by his loving parents, Gordon Sr. and Gloria Tamplain; sister Gingar (Josh), brother Garett (Sammi); nephews; nieces; great nephews; great niece; numerous uncles; aunts; cousins; dear friends and co-workers.

Services will be held Saturday, Jan. 26 at St. Hubert Catholic Church, 176 Anthony Monica St. in Garyville.

Visitation is from 9 a.m. to noon, immediately followed by a Mass of Christian Burial.

A private burial will take place at St. Peter’s Cemetery in Reserve at a later date.
