LUTCHER — St. James Parish Hospital recently celebrated Employees of the Quarter Amanda Domino and Denise Nosacka, each nominated by fellow staff and chosen by the Executive Leadership Team for their dedication to the hospital.

Domino has worked full-time at St. James Parish Hospital for a year, currently serving as a registered nurse in the Emergency Room.

She is a 1998 Graduate of Lutcher High School and a 2008 graduate of Excelsior College.

In nominating Domino, nurse Kacie Louque said she is a hard worker and attentive to patients.

“She never complains and gets along well with all staff members,” Louque said of Domino.

“She has a great attitude with very positive energy! She always brings a smile to work.”

Domino says she simply treats people like she would want to be treated — “with kindness.”

Nosacka, who has worked at St. James Parish Hospital for seven years, is a physical therapist assistant in the hospital’s Physical Therapy and Rehab Department.

She graduated from St. Charles Catholic in 1992 and then earned an Associate of Science from Delgado.

Physical Therapy and Rehab Director Shannon Juneau nominated Nosacka, saying she is always going above and beyond to help coworkers and patients with the same passion, drive and spirit of caring.

“She is also very passionate about delivering quality care to our patients,” Juneau said of Nosacka.

“She doesn’t hesitate to consult with a therapist or physician to obtain clarification on a Plan of Care, precautions or any other concern. We thank her so much for your commitment, time, skill, positive attitude and willing and caring spirit!”

Nosacka said she is blessed to have a job that she is passionate about “at a wonderful place like St. James Parish Hospital.”
