2nd grader Lailah Nelson takes over as principal

ST. ROSE — School officials have offered their congratulations to Principal of the Day Lailah Nelson.
The second grade student is in Keiana Alvis-Foster’s class at St. Rose Elementary School.
She was the top seller in SRE PTO’s fundraiser, becoming the Principal for the Day.
Among her many duties, Lailah conducted a community morning meeting for the entire student body.
