STEM Magnet High School Program holding open houses Nov. 30, Dec. 3 & 7
RESERVE — The St. John STEM Magnet High School Program is holding open houses for the public from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 30, Dec. 3 and Dec. 7.
School administrators will lead tours and answer any questions.
STEM Magnet High School Program applications are available at stjohn.k12.la.us. The deadline to apply is Dec. 7
Organizers said program benefits include college credits through LSU (engineering and digital design pathways), Advanced Placement courses, the Xavier Pre-Pharmacy Program in 2019-20, honors courses, dual Enrollment and a focus on Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.
The St. John STEM Magnet High School Program is located at 1880 River Road in Reserve.
Parents should park in the gravel lot to the left of the school and go to the front office to check in.
Program partners include Xavier, Louisiana State University and Marathon Petroleum Corporation.
