LAPLACE — The PK4 and kindergarten classes at St. Joan of Arc Catholic School visited the school’s science lab to complete a Thanksgiving STEM activity.
They worked in pairs and were challenged to design and build shelters to protect their turkeys from the farmer who was looking for a turkey for Thanksgiving dinner.
The students chose the materials they wanted to use and worked diligently on the task set before them.
All were successful in building protective shelters for their turkeys.
