Thomas Wayne Landry, born Oct. 18, 1954, passed away Nov. 7, 2018.
Landry, also known as Cajun or Pigeon, passed away peacefully at his home in Hoover, Ala., from a short battle with cancer.
He is the son of Maurice A. Landry and the late Verna Maxwell Landry. He was a native of Reserve and a resident of Alabama for the last 40 years.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Verna Maxwell Landry.
He is survived by his significant other of 32 years, Deidra Nunnelley; his daughter, Alicia Simmons; his grandchildren, Alexis, Haley and Gabe Timerlake; his dad, Maurice A. Landry; his siblings, Lisa Trosclair (Jimmy), Donna Landry, Maurice Landry (Paula), Anita Landry, Eric Landry, Delene Gueret (Kenny), and Pat Landry (Tricia); and a host of nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Ridout’s Valley Chapel, 1800 Oxmoor Road in Homewood, Ala., on Saturday, Nov. 17 from noon to 1 p.m.
Services will begin at 1 p.m. Burial will immediately follow services.
