- St. John the Baptist Parish firefighters respond to a Garyville fire Oct. 31 at the Garyville Recreation Center Gym on GYO Road. The gym was leased by nonprofit group Perry’s Posse and stocked with thousands of donated garage sale items projected to raise $25,000 for local cancer patients during a garage sale. Money raised benefits local cancer patients.
Speaking for Perry’s Posse, we would like to thank our great River Parishes businesses and resident supporters for always stepping up to help, especially in this OUR time of need.
We are hitting the ground running and have big things happening and we are so blessed!
We are reaching out now to our community for a venue to host our upcoming garage sale.
We are looking for a large, maybe warehouse, space where we can set up and sell the generous donations pouring in.
Please find it in your hearts to reach out to others that you know that may be able to assist in this.
We can provide an in kind tax donation form for tax purposes!
We can be contacted at 504-452-6547.
Thank you , again, from our hearts.
