St. John Public Schools pushing back start time Thursday because of bad weather

RESERVE — School will be delayed Thursday in the St. John the Baptist Parish Public School District.

Due to anticipated severe weather during morning travel time, all schools will follow the three-hour delayed start schedule on Thursday (Nov. 1).

St. Charles Catholic High School is beginning school Thursday at 10:30 a.m., 3 hours later than normal.
All students must be in 1st period by 10:30am. SCC will celebrate mass Thursday at 11:30 a.m. to observe the Feast of All Saints.

Due to forecasted severe weather by the National Weather Service during morning take-in times, all St. Charles Parish Public Schools will operate on a three-hour delayed start time on Thursday. Buses will begin picking up students approximately 40 minutes prior to the delayed start times. There will be no before school care, but after school care will be available. Lunch will be served, and schools will dismiss at the regularly scheduled times. After school activities will take place as scheduled
