LAPLACE — The St. John the Baptist Parish Andouille Festival, slated for Oct. 19-21 at the St. John Community Center in LaPlace, features great food, good music and an overall enjoyable time for all ages.

Andouille Festival Posters and ride passes are now on sale at local stores.

Residents are encouraged to take advantage of these special offers in advance of the fun-filled festival weekend.

Posters with artist signature are on sale for $30. Signed and numbered posters are on sale for $40.

They are created by LaPlace native and ULL Student Ciara Sanders.

Advanced Ride Tickets:

Save money on rides by purchasing a weekend ride pass in advance for $60, which includes unlimited ride access throughout the festival weekend.

The deal alleviates the cost of normal ride rates, which range from $3-$5 per ride.

The all weekend pass will be $75 at the gate.

Advanced Day Ride Tickets will be $25 and $30 at the gate.

Advance passes will only be available for purchase until Oct. 18.

All ride bracelets and posters can be purchased during normal operating at Matherne’s Market in LaPlace, Gregg’s Neighborhood Supermarket in Reserve, Don’s Country Store in Reserve, the Percy Hebert Building Economic Development Department in LaPlace and the West Bank Courthouse in Edgard,

Festival patrons that bring a canned food item to the admission gate Oct. 19 pay an admission price of just $1.

Donated canned goods will be provided to Second Harvest Food Bank.
