Apply for $1,000 grants from RRAHC that are available for River Region

LAPLACE — The River Region Arts & Humanities Council or “RRAHC,” representing St. Charles Parish, St. John the Baptist Parish and St. James Parish, has 2019 grants available for schools, theatre groups, libraries, art guilds and other qualified non-profit organizations interested in presenting arts programs or humanities projects.

2019 grants wil1 not exceed $1,000 per application.

2019 grant applications are available at rrahc.org, by contacting RRAHC, Post Office Box 1411, LaPlace, Louisiana, 70069-1411 or by calling 2019 Grant Committee member Harold Flynn Jr. at 985-651-9090.

2019 Grants must be post marked by Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2018, and received by the 2019 Grants Committee by the same date. 2019 Grants will be announced in mid-December and recipients will receive their awards at a reception during the 2019 RRAHC Annual Meeting of the membership Jan. 15.

2019 Grant recipients or an organization representative must be present to accept the grant.

Last year’s 2018 RRAHC Grant Committee presented 27 grants or sponsorships totaling approximately $11,119.59.
