St. Joan of Arc starts year with retreat, group activities

The seventh grade classes at St. Joan of Arc Catholic School started off their year with a retreat on the first day of school.
Principal Jeffrey Montz discussed what their role as student leaders for the 2018-2019 means.

They used hand lens and microscopes to determine which was better for making observations of rocks, tissues and pennies. Students worked in groups to communicate and document their findings.
The students participated in a variety of activities revolving around the theme of leading by serving.
