James “Jim” S. Driscoll passed away on Thursday, Aug. 30, 2018, at the age of 76.

He was a native of Titusville, PA and a longtime resident of LaPlace.
Jim served in the U.S. Army and later worked for Shell Chemical, where he retired in 1999.
He was a parishioner of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church.
Jim was the beloved husband of 50 years to Frances Bradberry Driscoll; loving father of Lorrie Beth Driscoll, Stephen Aaron Driscoll and Kyle Jerrod Driscoll (Natalie); grandfather of Nathan “Nate” James Driscoll and Olivia Clare Driscoll; son of the late John and Katherine Findley Driscoll; and brother of the late Edith Campbell, Frances Hummer and Johnny Driscoll.
He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Millet-Guidry Funeral Home, 2806 W. Airline Highway in LaPlace, on Tuesday, Sept. 4 from 2 to 4 p.m., with the service to immediately follow.
