Florida Superior Sand recently purchased a DSC Wolverine Class dredge, pictured, for its sand mine site in Palm City, Fla. The 10-inch dredge meets the challenges of their new sand mining operations. DSC, which is headquartered in Reserve, provided on-site field technician help for off-loading and training in dredge operations. The dredge, which is known for its portable economical design, features a 25-foot digging depth, and is powered by a CAT C-13 diesel engine.
