Myrtle Simoneaux Robichaux passed away at her residence surrounded by family on Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2018, at the age of 82.

She was a parishioner of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, where she served as an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion and formerly volunteered in the church office.

She was the beloved wife of the late Robert “Bobby” Robichaux; loving mother of Jodi R. Bleakley (Barry), Scott Robichaux (Mona), Drew Robichaux and the late Keith Robichaux; grandmother of Jessica Galatas, Ashley Russell (Jeremy), Christina Briscoe (Michael), Cody Robichaux and Bethani Robichaux; great grandmother of Landon Russell; daughter of the late Felix and Myrtle Simoneaux; and sister of Audrey Terrio (Alvin), Myra LeBlanc, Carey Simoneaux, Maurice Simoneaux and the late Loretta Simoneaux.

She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at noon Thursday, Aug. 23 at St. Joan of Arc Church, 529 W. 5th St. in LaPlace.

Visitation begins at 10 a.m. in the church. Interment is in St. John Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, masses in her memory preferred.
