LAPLACE — St. John the Baptist Parish Library is selling surplus computer items by public silent auction.

Items include: PCs, laptops, printers, hand-held devices and more. The bidding will take place at 9 a.m. Aug. 24 at the Central Library on U.S. 51 in LaPlace.

The items can be viewed from 3 to 5 p.m. Aug. 23 in library meeting rooms.

PCs and laptops will have a starting bid of $10. Cash or check payments for winning bids must be paid immediately.

Items can be picked up only after payment is made.
